Sprinklers on my 15-month birthday!

We went to the dog park to take some photos of my cousin Leroy (more on that at the bottom).

As it turns out, there is also a people park there--with sprinklers!

This is how many of the citizens of Boulder take a bath.

All clean!

Ba ha ha ha!

Sprinklers are great.

I ran right through them, over and over again. Even the big kids weren't doing that.

Argh! Direct hit!

Really, it's OK. I liked it!

OK--this one was a bit much.

Dad says this is just like summer in New York in the 1970s ...

People would take the caps off the fire hydrants ...

... and run around in the street.

This seems a bit more organized.

Final direct hit!

That was great.

Oh--I mentioned cousin Leroy before.

Aunt Kelly got a new puppy recently.

This is him!

Water!

My friend Clara got this "water table" recently, so Mom took me across the street to play.

Water! Just like the ocean!

Appropriate dress is key in pretending we're at the beach.

Mmmm ... Ocean water ...

There are no fish in this water, for some reason.

And this isn't really sand.

And, come to think of it, there are no seagulls here.

And ... that appears to be dad's car parked on the street.

Still, though, this ocean water is delicious!

Fishies!

We went to the Denver Downtown Aquarium recently.

Dad says the lighting was terrible. I'm not sure what he was expecting from an aquarium.

FISHIES!

Now that, right there, is a fish.

For some reason, fish really keep my attention.

There's a shark.

Now, sharks are our friends. Keep that in mind.

Some people don't realize that.

Bye bye, little guys!

I run and I cook

This is basically how I get around now.

It gets me where I need to be.

In this case, I need to be cooking.

You didn't know that I know how to cook? Sure I do. Allow me to elaborate:

This is a spatula.

This is a wooden spoon.

You use the wooden spoon to thwack people when they try to eat your food before it's ready.

Hey you! I see you there! Stay away from the sauce!

That's better.

Stir stir stir.

I'm not quite sure when the rolling pin is used in this recipe, but I'll figure it out.

I'm putting a lid on this for now. See you soon!

I walk walk walk

I told you I didn't need those crawling ramps at the Children's Museum!

When it's time to talk on the phone, I just walk over to it. Because I can walk, see.

I had stuff to do elsewhere ...

... and things to bring to mom.

Denver Children's Museum

We went to the Denver Children's Museum this past weekend!

They have interesting trees.

Ba ha ha ha!

Their crawling ramps are top-notch.

I don't really need them anymore, though. More on that in a post coming soon!

I really made myself at home.

Cushy star!

You can see me in the mirror if you look closely.

This was probably my favorite part. Velcro veggies!

Gears!

The nuts and bolts were great too.

I'm building something.

After a long time tightening nuts and bolts, some Velcro veggies really hit the spot.

Yum!

They also have an entire garden of cloth vegetables.

Here's a purple ... um ... rutabaga?

After a good harvest, I opened the store to sell the day's produce.

What can I get for you today? We have a special on purple.

Super-long NYC photo dump

I'm back from NYC! Here are a few dozen photos taken by mom and Grandpa Les--way too many to caption.

Emma and me at a birthday party for mom. I gave mom the stomach flu for her birthday!

That's Emma's brother, Ethan, and his mom, Jenn.

Dad and Uncle Eric.

Emma is helping grandma Annette play the piano.

At the Central Park Zoo.

I loved the penguins the best.

Here I am at the Central Park Carousel.

I'm teaching grandma a thing or two.

Just hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa Feldman's house (my vacation home, as I like to call it).

At the beach five houses away from my vacation home.

I like to eat noodles much more than I like to eat sand.

On the Upper West Side.

At the Manhattan Children's Museum.

Grandma is teaching me how to drive a bus.

I'm teaching everyone how to drive a fire engine.

I have a potato.

Now I have a banana.

Grandpa Les is trying to figure out how to get that spot off my face.

My appetizer at Ollie's Chinese Restaurant.

May I recommend the Mei Fun?

My mom tried to tip the waitress with me.

Aunt Ellen and Uncle Eric.

Other Uncle Eric and Emily.

Mom's friends from high school.

Hanging out in Emma and Ethan's backyard.

It rained a little so we went inside. This is Auntie Sharon and her beautiful niece, Lulu.

Grandpa Joel at a different Chinese restaurant.

This is my friend Sydney. You might remember her from earlier posts.

Zia Mary and I like to hang out in ball pits.

This is a ride that made mom really sick at Coney Island.

I love a good Carousel.

I captured a giant walrus at the New York Aquarium.

All that playing with my New York friends and family made me a little dirty. Here I am taking a bath with my friend Noah in Aunt Peggy's giant bath tub back in Colorado.
